Since the creation of the Guttenburg press, print has changed very little. Even with the introduction of a new breed of digital print engines that could match the traditional lithographic print for quality, things still did not change. This was because print is a very conservative business that is slow to grasp new technologies. Traditional printers use a process that is slow, requires a lot of user effort and long runs to be cost effective.
